Terms of service

We guarantee that all of our dahlia tubers have been grown on our farm for a minimum of one year.
Once an order has been placed, we cannot add or subtract from it. Please place another order if you would like to purchase additional items. We will combine orders that have exact billing and shipping names and addresses. Orders with differing shipping or billing names and addresses will not be combined.  
Items that have been placed in your cart are not guaranteed or reserved until your purchase is complete and you have received a confirmation number and email. 
Please follow the growing instructions that you will receive with your order. Tubers are dormant upon arrival and can take up to six weeks for growth to appear above ground. We will not be held responsible for weather issues, pest problems, viruses or poor customer care. For instance, we will not be held responsible for rotten tubers after they have been planted. Nor will we be held responsible for tubers that have been stored improperly upon receiving.
Starting January 1, 2026, tubers will not be refunded upon receipt for concerns of gall right out of the packaging. Each tuber has been thoroughly inspected for fused eyes before shipping and we do not sell tubers that could potentially have gall. We ship tubers that are fully awake for the most part, which can result in many tubers having multiple sprouts. Sprouts also get broken off sometimes which can result in multiple sprouts regrowing from the same spot. This is not gall, and it is only a sign of a vigorous dahlia tuber. Due to the large influx of dahlia Facebook group posts sparking fear in people concerning gall that are simply incorrect, we will not be refunding tubers that we have shipped out that simply have multiple sprouts growing. We will only refund a tuber if it should experience freezing temperatures in transit which would cause the tuber to rot. We will not be giving refunds simply if you do not like how your tuber looks upon receiving it. Due to a large number of scammers appearing in the dahlia world, we will not refund money simply if you do not like how the tuber looks upon receiving it. Shipping costs will never be refunded. 
Viruses can be brought on by such pests as thrips, therefore we will not be held responsible to reimburse payment for tubers that experience virus symptoms. We try our utmost best to practice sanitization among our plants and pull regularly for virus. 
Beginning in 2026, no refunds will be made due to incorrect labelling. Dahlias that are not bloom confirmed will be clearly labelled in their descriptions and will not be refunded upon incorrect labelling.
Reselling tubers purchased from Torch River Flower Farm voids any and all of our guarantees on our products. 

We do not accept orders via mail or telephone. All orders must be placed through our website. 
Torch River Flower Farm reserves the right to refuse service to any customer at any time. Due to a large influx of business defamation that is occurring frequently on dahlia Facebook groups, Instagram accounts, etc. we reserve the right to cancel anyone’s order and refuse to fulfil orders that are placed by anyone who has defamed our business/ publicly criticized our persons, business practices, or plants. We will also cancel any orders placed by anyone who has fraudulently demanded money for past orders.
